The Institut Jean Lamour (IJL) organizes the « Nanomaterials 2018 » conference from September 25th to September 28th 2018 in Nancy (France). The Nanomaterials 2018 conference combined two parts :

• UniGR M-SNOWS 2018 Magnetic Single Nano-Object Workshop and School 2018 (from September 25th to September 27th)
• N4S 2018 (Nanomaterials for Sensors) on September 28th. No registration fees

This N4S day will be devoted to the field of smart sensors. During this day, all kind of innovating sensors will be discussed, such as acoustic sensors, opto-electonic sensors, magnetic sensors etc. In the morning, a plenary session will gather the scientific community, ie academic researchers and companies, to provide an overview of the sensors market and R&D activities. During the afternoon, 4 parallel sessions will be organized and short talks will be given by our privileged industrial and academic partners. Each of these sessions relies on the N4S project scientific topics : piezo electric and acoustic, optoelectronic and photonic, magnetism and spintronic and low dimension electronic. A poster session will close the day.
